The Opt-In Oregon Coalition is a statewide alliance of businesses, education organizations, local governments, community leaders, and nonprofits working together to ensure Oregon participates in the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit program. By opting in, Oregon can unlock potentially hundreds of millions of dollars in privately funded scholarships and educational services for students across the state.

Here's How It Works

From contribution to classroom, in three steps.

Donate

An individual contributes to a Scholarship Granting Organization.

Receive the Tax Credit

The donor receives a dollar-for-dollar federal tax credit, up to $1,700.

Students Benefit

Scholarships help students pay for tutoring, after-school programs, transportation, special education services, tuition, and other approved educational expenses.
